With an increasing number of Council members working with their portfolio companies to become more sustainable, they are also looking for ways to implement changes at the fund manager level.

Given air travel accounts for nearly all of a fund managers' GHG emissions, reducing such emissions can have the greatest impact in progress toward a more sustainable future. According to McKinsey’s analysis, up to 63% of time in discussing business strategies with colleagues and clients can be done virtually, 41% of events and up to 57% of establishing interpersonal relationships can also be achieved remotely.

This online workshop is designed to convey the impacts of air travel on GHG emissions based on a mini case study of Council members as well as gather insights and feedback from attendees. Subsequently, the Council will be producing a best practice guide to assist members in their journey toward reducing their carbon footprint.
