Foundations of Private Capital

This comprehensive and fully accredited course is aimed at early career investment professionals looking to accelerate their experience and knowledge through skills development and deal simulations led by the some of the private capital industry’s most senior leaders. The program combines one online session, followed by an all-inclusive three day residential course in Sydney.

Modelled on the highly successful British Private Equity & Venture Capital industry’s Foundations course, this program will be targeted at delivering a comprehensive base of knowledge and skills across private equity, venture and private credit, hearing from senior industry practitioners who will share their hands-on experience and career learnings from the perspective of both fund managers as well as institutional investors.

Testimonials from previous participants

"Great presenters with interesting, real case studies that bring concepts to life and help you think about all the different considerations where there are no binary answers. It was very interesting learning about the different investment and portfolio management philosophies and toolkits / playbooks that each GP uses. The team were also very hospitable throughout the program and chose great locations for dinners that really set up a vibrant atmosphere to connect with others - these 'small' things that may go unnoticed made the program special."

"I thought the course was very well run and will be recommending it to all of our new associates."

"Three great speakers, great content and a great way to network with others."
