Head of Waste to Resource, Woolworths Group

Peter is Head of Waste to Resource for Woolworths 360, a division of Woolworths Group. Woolworths 360 is a service provider to the Woolworths Group and is focused on sustainability initiatives. Woolworths 360 works with industry to develop innovative partnerships and solutions to develop a circular economy. Peter has over 10 years’ experience in the sustainability sector primarily involved in the establishment of Product Stewardship Schemes such as the NSW Container Deposit Scheme & the Federal Government’s television & computer recycling scheme. He is currently a board member of Future Feed, a start up utilising seaweed to reduce cattle methane emissions, and Battery Stewardship Council, a product stewardship scheme focused on recycling handheld batteries in Australia. Peter also has an extensive experience in logistics having been a senior manager of DHL for over 20 years. He has a degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Commerce.
