Dr Mark Bonnar

Mark is an active venture capital investor with 25 years of international experience across the technology sector. His investment interests include all sustainable forms of energy; traditional and renewable, centralised and distributed, efficiency and storage as well as hydrogen generation, transport and utilisation. Currently Mark serves on the boards of Sunman Energy, Wattwatchers, Greensync, BenAn Energy, Octillion Energy (SinoEV) and Hydrexia and was previously a director of Mojo Power, Sunverge Energy and Ecoult.

Mark holds a BSc in applied physics and a PhD in materials science from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. He is a Chartered Physicist and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. In 2019 Mark joined former Vice President Al Gore and 27,000 other global leaders in the Climate Reality Project to support education and advocacy on climate change.
