Adrian Loader
Founding Partner - Allegro Funds
Adrian is a co-founder of Allegro Funds, an Australian based private equity
firm which has over $1 billion in Funds Under Management. Allegro usually
invests between $10M to $100M in equity.
Adrian co-founded Allegro Funds in 2004 when he and Chester Moynihan
believed there was an opportunity to create a specialist private equity
fund that focused on investing in turnaround and transformational deals in
Australia and New Zealand.
Prior to that Adrian worked as an advisor and had many roles in turnaround
transactions.
Adrian has:

Been Chairman and non-executive director of companies going through
turnarounds and transformations (both listed and private);

Held many executive positions in distressed businesses, including CEO,
COO and Interim CFO;

Bought and sold distressed assets in businesses;

Invested in equity in distressed businesses;

Bought debt in distressed businesses; and
-
Advised shareholders, boards, management and financiers on both financial
and operational restructuring.

Adrian has worked across Australia, New Zealand, Thailand and Brunei.
Adrian is an admitted solicitor in NSW and qualified as a Chartered
Accountant. He holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Economics degree
from the Australian National University. Mr. Loader has also completed the
Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment at FINSIA and a Graduate
Diploma in Legal Practice at the College of Law.
Mr. Loader is currently Chairman of Discovery Parks, JSW Australia and
Terrex and is on the board of Everest Ice Cream.
Adrian has previously been Chairman and President of the Turnaround
Management Association of Australia.
