Michael Dovey is the General Partner of Firemark Ventures, the corporate venture capital fund of IAG – Australia’s largest general insurance company.

Firemark Ventures has made 24 investments across 16 portfolio companies. Of particular focus are investments that also present a strategic data opportunity for IAG to leverage. With this focus also comes the challenges of data governance and how the data is appropriately integrated into IAG.

Prior to IAG, Michael built and sold a successful start-up business and prior to that worked at UBS Investment Bank.
