Kristy Edser

Kristy is a highly respected employment lawyer who works in partnership
with her clients to effectively manage all aspects of the employment
relationship. A commercially focused practitioner, Kristy advises
organisations across a range of industries, but has particular expertise in
the finance and insurance, technology and communications and healthcare
sectors.
Kristy advises in respect of all workplace matters with a particular
interest in managing performance and conduct, strategic workplace planning,
equal employment opportunity, harassment and discrimination. Kristy also
has specific expertise in advising on employer work, health and safety
obligations, particularly in respect of psychological illness.
In the last 18 months, Kristy has been a key advisor in respect of COVID,
leading an internal team at MinterEllison to ensure that clients and staff
nationally were all able to access practical guidance on the Public Health
Orders, Directors and WHS requirements. Kristy continues to work closely
with many clients in relation to all aspects of COVID from a workplace law,
discrimination and WHS perspective. This includes regularly briefing
leadership teams and Boards and advising on strategy, consultation.

Kristy is currently Practice Group Leader for the Sydney Workplace team and
has recently been appointed to become the Sydney Office Managing Partner
for MinterEllison effective 1 October 2021.
