Ms. Lawrence is a Vice President in the Venture Capital / Growth Equity team at StepStone Group in the New York office. Eden joined from the acquisition of Greenspring Associates, a US venture capital and growth equity investment firm that merged with StepStone in 2021. Ms. Lawrence focuses her time as a Venture product specialist and co-leads the VC fundraising team for the Asia Pacific Region. Ms. Lawrence is also the Venture representative on StepStone’s Global DEI Committee and works alongside the VC marketing team to develop content reflective of the firm’s values and commitments. During her tenure at Greenspring and now StepStone, Ms. Lawrence has authored several white papers about the evolving venture capital landscaping and assists investment team leaders with syndication opportunities.

Before that, Ms. Lawrence managed and ran the Queensland Government’s $80m Business Development Fund in the Private Equity team at QIC. Eden also worked closely within the team on the broader Private Equity portfolio, focusing on ESG and Asia-Pacific fund and co-investment opportunities.

Ms. Lawrence graduated from Queensland University of Technology with a dual degree in Law and Business Economics and is an admitted Solicitor under the Supreme Court of Queensland, Australia. Ms. Lawrence has also completed the Australian Company Directors Course.
